Gaea-Mae was created by Destiny Robinson as a reflection of culture, experience, and personal perspective. Each piece is rooted in her identity, pulling inspiration from African American culture—past and present—and translating those influences into garments that feel both intentional and expressive.

The name Gaea-Mae means “Earth’s Flower,” a tribute to her grandmother, Dorothy Mae Childress, who was one of the first people to truly believe in her when she fell in love with design. This brand stands not only as a creative outlet, but as a continuation of that support, love, and legacy.
